Gentlemen are we guys from the GWS section perceived as woman-haters by other sections or outsiders?

Edit:Know it all that is what i was asking the professor and mate i never would misreperesent but i do think there some exceptions and extremes on both the sides.

Don't worry. We regulars know which of them are the maladjusted women-haters and which ones are not, and which ones give us B.S. purely out of affection.

You certainly are. In other sections, there are comments about it from time to time.

Of course, it doesn't apply to all the male users, but the obvious ones are pretty obvious.

And contrary to what some answerers are saying ... it's not feminists who are 'presenting' men here as anything. You guys are writing your own posts, people are reading those and deciding for themselves.

But many people do seem to find it entertaining, so rave on!

Speaking as someone who spends most of his time in other sections, I'd have to say as a rule of thumb yes.  Some of the misogynistic behaviour I see here by some users is nothing less than revolting to me.  But I would not go so far as to say all men here are anything.  Does this really surprise you?

Generally not, because most questions I answer about "Gender & Women's Studies" are directed into the "Gender & Women's Studies" section.

Although I have seen the exceptional gender-related question in other sections, I've never been accused as a woman-hater by anybody except my ex-girlfriend, whom I will not be inviting to my wedding.

Females have become a special interest group, a protected class. The women's movement, if you can call it one, is not unlike blacks and homosexuals. It is not PC to discuss their faults. If you do you are a racist or a homophobe. Both are untrue but it is easy to label as a misogynist if he disagrees with you.

There are many REAL woman-haters on this forum.  Whereas the controversies and heated battles are understandable on the political or religious forums, the amount of misogynists that post here daily speaks to a truly disturbing fact.  Everyone should have an opinion.  No one should simply hate women of a specific kind of woman.  They is also a lot of g*y bashing here, which does not happen in the g*y and L*****n forums.  If someone wanted to Internet g*y bash, you would think they would post their hate in those forums.  But this is by far the worst forum..

This is a public forum and anyone can come here. But rest assured, they will go through more than just one question to get a feel of whats going on here.

Being perceived as women-haters isnt new to non-femminists. I can live with that.

No, it is the way hairy feminist bullies try to spin whats going on in GWS to present men as "evil." They succeed sometimes because even the most benevolent and friendly men sometimes can't help but hate the unwashed unshaven buzzcut wearing feminist crowd... probably because they are so easy to dislike and bring out the worst in us, guys...
