Question:

Genuine questions for Jehovah's Witnesses?

My husband was raised as a JW for a short time.

He has a genuine question about the JW beliefs

We are looking for an answer without and preaching or judgement, just the facts of your/their beliefs. Thanks all! :)

==============

Here's his question:

What do JW's believe now that the 1914 theory is now too late?

The time is running out/ran out for the 1914 generation, so what is the current belief?

=========

Thanks again all

We appreciate it

  1. The Genuine answer is Go to Watchtower.org.

    The answer would be too lengthy on here.

  2. Could you please elaborate. What do you mean by the 1914 theory? 1914 is when Jesus Christ was installed as King in Heavenly Zion. That is when Satan and his demons were ousted from Heaven and sent to Earth.

    Are you speaking of this scripture?... Matt.24:34 "Truly I say to YOU that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur". If you are, Jesus wasn't referring to a specific date, but the group of announted who will be with him ruling in Heaven...the 144,000. That is why he says it to "you". So everything that Jesus said would occur will occur before the entire 144,000 are in their Heavenly positions.

  3. I find that to have been a false prophecy. Only my observation. God has instruction as to what a Christ follower is to do with those who prophecy in the name of God, and are proving to have been false.

    Only my own opinion.

  4. What do JW's believe now that the 1914 theory is now too late?

    What in the world are you talking about?

    Ask hubby to look for the Watchtower of 1st November, 1995. (pages 10-21 and 30-31)
