Geo Land:The lost time???

Question

I'm at the part in the game where you have to get through the maze and the triangle tells you to go south-east-west-north. I don't get how to get past that part. Which way do i go?? Do i go up down left or right???

you just start from the tent area go into the maze and when you get there go down then right and back left and then up even if it seems like the same place you were just at
