Exact calculations for aiming a weapon, bombing a target, teeing up a golfball, planes and ships landing and sailing are based on a non-moving earth. Accuracy demands a stationary earth in describing eclipses and space programs. 50 states require you to turn on your headlights 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset. sun rises and sets in east and west. Einstein and Tycho Brahe was right and Copernicus and Galileo was wrong. Geocentricism is right and correct! Many have educated themselves beyond their on understanding in buying Heliocentrism and ape ancestry Evolution.

  1. Your examples prove only that for a number of purposes, a geocentric model aids in determining or calculating useful numbers.  It doesn't make sense to do something locally (fire a cannon, for example) based on coordinates centered on the sun or the galaxy.

This does not change the truth of modern post-Copernican models of the solar system, galaxy and/or universe.

  2. Why am I not surprised that you are a creationist?

Sorry to disillusion you, but Einstein had no doubts about the heliocentric nature of the solar system.  And Tycho believed in a kind of hybrid.  Where do people like you get this stuff?  These are some of the dumbest "proofs" I've ever seen for anything.

Anyway, no point in further discussion.  Either you're a troll, which would be wasting my time, or you believe this nonsense, which would be wasting my time.

  3. LOL!!!   Car headlight laws as "proof" that the sun is moving!!! Yikes!! Do you happen to belong to the Flat Earth Society?

  4. Even the heliocentric view is an approximation.  The solar system orbits the Galaxy.  The Galaxy moves in various ways.  The closest thing i've seen to a preferred inertial reference is the cosmic microwave background radiation.  The CMBR maps that are published subtract out the CMBR dipole.   But that's not a place, just a velocity vector.

  6. Yeah right. How come geocentrism does not explain retrograde motion in a satisfactory manner?

Why does the Sun set in the West? Because we named it West.

Why does the Sun appear to move? Axial rotation. Atmospheric drag and air resistance are the reasons missile calculations can be used for a "stationary" Earth.
