The Sri Lankan media has pointed its cannons towards the overseas coach, Geoff Marsh, in the wake of the national team’s dismal show against Pakistan during the recently-concluded Test and ODI series, held at the neutral venues of UAE.

However, Sri Lanka’s sports ministry has probed into the affair and found that miscommunication inside the team and with the management was the main cause of their collapse.
A press release by the ministry revealed, “It was revealed that the main reason as to why the national cricket team failed to perform overseas was due to the miscommunication between the team, the selectors and the coaches.”
