  1. He remains a great skater, but you gotta be more than that to truly be a valuable player to a team. Wasn't he awesome on that line with Pat Verbeek and Andrew Cassells back in the day, Whalers fans?

  2. Yes and no. It all depends on what he wants to do. He is an older player, but like you said, he is still only 36 and could still have something left in the tank.

If he were to return to an NHL team next season instead of retiring, I think it would be the Blue Jackets, Oilers or Flyers because many teams wouldn't want to risk the money on someone considered "old." I also say these 3 teams because these are his most recent teams(I don't see him going back to Pheonix). He has proved to be a good 3rd line player.

I would actually like to see him return to the Blue Jackets. I would like to see him return there because, although obviously past his prime, he did well in Coloumbus. He put up some decent numbers. He got along well with the people there(atleast from what I heard)

Sanderson back to Coloumbus? Seems plausible. I would like to see it happen again.

  3. I could see it I guess. He can still play but he's way past hsi prime

  4. no. retiree

  5. Quite possibly. It would be a third go around with them. He is a nice  usable player. Still a lot to offer a team. They do say third time is the charm , right?
