  1. This is too complicated without finding them on a Globe or in an atlas.  The Prime Meridian (Greenwich Mean Time) is the longitudinal line that passes through Greenwich England.  Since it is halfway around the world from the International Date Line, I would think that it would be 180 degrees longitude.  My guess on latitude for England would be ranging from about 35 to 40 degrees.

You can do a search for these two countries exact ranges of latitude and longitude, but if you have a globe or atlas  available, it would probably be faster.  Keep in mind that it will be a range of coordinates, not a single set, for each country, and the range for Australia will be much wider considering its size.

  2. Absolute Locations

    England 54 00 N, 2 00 W

    Australia 35º 31 S, 149º 13 E

    The United Kingdom  52°00 N, 1°00 W
