Geographical Shapes?

Question

Why is it that most countries and continents seem to be prone to gravity (sloping from North to South).

Africa and America, seem to tail off to the south, as do the countries of India, Korea, Vietnam, Italy and many other peninsulas around the globe.

Thanks, it's always puzzled me.

its the tectonics movement of the plate..that started when the earth is one big super continent called pangea..the plate movement still happens which explain the happenings of some countries are pushed centimeters yearly from its original place,mountains getting taller,earthquakes, the tsunamis and such..
