Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I remember seeing a documentary about a woman scientist in Egypt doing similar work. Being a female in an Arab country she wasn't taken too seriously but her results were as startling as these.

It just goes to show that by applying the basics of nature amazing things can be accomplished. There is no need for people to starve when projects like this show that they CAN be fed.
