Good Question - I had to research, think and I learned something  I didn't know before!

Selby and I know I didn't get it answered first but that's OK



I had never heard of the "megawatt Valley" so I started to research and found out about the 3 power plants ( Drax, Eggham, and Ferrybridge) and that there had been protests and that DRAX alone emits 21 million tonnes of carbon dioxide in one year. So, I started to get interested and did a bit of reading. Then I had to figure out where these 3 plants were and and look for a common city or town. I found 2 places ( Selby and Castleford ). Checking, I realized that Selby was the more northern of the two so I figured that would be my answer.

It took me a while but I'm not from the UK .
