Geography: What is the farthest most city in the U.S. east & west?

I know Key West, FL is the southernmost and Nome, AK is the northernmost. What 2 cities are the farthest east & west? Tx Deb.

WIthout looking at a map, I would say Bangor Maine is the farthest east and Anchorage Alaska is the farthest west, if you are talking about sizable cites, there are certainly smaller towns out past these, but I do not know the names.

Actually Barrow, AK is the northernmost town in Alaska.

Lubec, Maine is the easternmost town and Adak, AK is the westernmost town in the United States (not counting the territories).
