  1. Can't help as my exams were decades ago.

    Just good luck.......

  2. I have that paper too and I am so not looking forward to it! I know its about Water, Landforms and People for everyone doing Geography GCSE with the OCR B Avery Hill specification.

I think there will be a little map skills involved, such as describing a distance of a certain landform or if you can identify if a certain part of the river is the lower, upper or middle course by studying the steepness of the area.

I hope you know the different types of erosion (abrasion, attriction, hydraulic action, corrosion) and transportation (solution, suspension, saltation, traction) that take takes and can describe different landforms like waterfalls and how stacks, spits, ox bow lakes are formed.

You also need to know the different parts of a river, such as the upper, middle and lower course and I think you should be able to describe each parts.

Other things you need to know is about the water cycle and how water moves through the system using flows and stores.

    What else... lets see:

Do you know the difference between soft and hard engineering to protect from flooding? And can you give examples?

This is mainly a decision making paper so the main part of the exam probably to write a report with the decision you made in the first two parts.

If I think of anything else, I'll add.
