Geography questions, i don't get the book..?

i was reading a discovery book, and i have two things stuck in my head i can't figure out. wikipedia isnt helping either. Please help me sleep tonight.

Why is Mount Ceberus annotated, and where is the north west peninsula of antartica?

All I could find is that The Antarctic Peninsula is the northernmost part of the mainland of Antarctica.   It lies in the Western Hemisphere, facing South America, making it a part of West Antarctica.
