I'm reading geology textbook, and i don't really understand their difference. So, corridors allow migration back and forth, right. How about filter bridges, and sweepstakes routes???

Thank you for your help.

Corridors: Land corridors such as the Panama land bridge between the Americas, or the ancient Bering Land bridge between Siberia and Alaska allow(ed) migration across. The Triassic Tethyan Sea allowed coastal migrations of coastal faunas.  Corridors allow most species to pass across safely. They are considered important in management planning.

Filters: filter out some but not all species. For example, the Arabian desert prevents some species from crossing between Africa and Asia, but not all.

Sweepstakes routes: Dispersal by unlikely or rare chance (floating on a log perhaps), or[ floating on a continent that crashes with another].
