  1. well a supplementary angle is 180 degrees... so I'm guessing the measure is 180-44 which is 136...not sure if this is correct.


  2. Let x be the measure of the angle.

    180-x = x-44

    Solve for x,

    x = 112 degreese

    180-x = 68 degrees <-- the supplement of the angle.

  3. the angle and its supplement should add to 180.

    a + (a-44) = 180

    2a = 224

    a = 112  (measure of the angle)

    the supplement's equation is: a-44

    =112-44

    =68 (measure of the supplement)

    to check:

    112 + 68 = 180

    180 = 180   (-:
