    3) 8^2+15^2 = 289

    17^2 = 289

    Due to the pythagorean theorem, it's a right triangle.

    If a^2+b^2 > c^2, the triangle is acute.

    If a^2+b^2 < c^2, the triangle is obtuse.

    If a^2+b^2 = c^2, the triangle is right.

  3. sorry I'm not a great help, I don't know what is the answers in numbers 1 and 2 but I know the no. 3, it is a right triangle.. because of the pythagorean theorem..
