  1. Algebra 1 is a lot easier in my opinion. When I first took Geometry in high school I was overwhelmed with all the shapes and measurements. It was hard for me to understand the subject because I was so used to learning with numbers; not shapes. My guess is that if you are good with shapes, take Geometry; if you are good with numbers, take Algebra 1. But in reality, it shouldn't really matter because most schools require you to complete both courses in order to graduate.

  2. Well, Algebra 1 has to do with formulas and functions. Geometry on the other hand has to do with shapes and degrees of shapes.

It is much easier to take Geometry by first taking Algebra 1.

  3. Start with Algebra 1 because you have to know that for Geometry.

  4. Algebra 1...Geometry would be next to impossible without it

  5. Think you should start with Algebra 1. Some of it would be reused in geometry.

  6. You should take Algebra 1 before Geometry.

  7. In my school, Algebra 1 comes right before Geometry (and Algebra 2 after Geometry).  Algebra 1 is a freshman level course but is recommended for eighth graders who do well in math [according to my school.] Then if you do Alg-1 in 9th, you'd do Geom in 10th; Alg-1 in 8th, Geom in 9th, and so on.

If you're a sophmore or older, do geometry.  Younger, algebra 1.

Personally, I found Algebra 1 easier.  I had an A- average with it with an easy teacher (normal course) and got a C+ in Geometry for an Honors course and had to switch to a normal where I still got a B.

Good luck hon, & hope I didn't confuse you too much, haha.
