A counteroffer of 7 million Euros was tabled, plus bonus in case of Champions League qualification. Additionally, the transfer of striker Jeremy Pied and a loan of striker Harry Novillo was also offered to the Yonne club.
This didn’t have any impression on Bourgoin. He was quoted of saying, “It’s far from what I want.”
