Gerard Houllier rules out Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne, Carragher returns for Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Richard Dunne out for a month
Aston Villa boss http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Richard-Dunne-c31070 had a shoulder injury which would keep him out for a month. Dunne picked up the injury during the 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup fixture during midweek.
Houllier said while speaking to reporters, “Unfortunately, we`re going to lose Richard Dunne for three to four weeks with a shoulder problem. The good thing is, we haven`t got many games during that period.”
Jamie Carragher comes back stronger
Liverpool defender and Vice-captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jamie-Carragher-c17728 said he hoped his time on the sidelines had made him stronger, having finally returned from injury. Carragher is one of the oldest players at Anfield, having recently celebrated his 33rd birthday
in January. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international dislocated his shoulder in November and watched his side weather the difficult Christmas-New Year’s period from the sidelines.
However, he is fully fit now, having made his return in February. He has been a consistent part of Kenny Dalglish’s side since then, making an appearance in four of their last five matches. Carragher admitted the lengthy time off had been difficult for him
but he hoped to get something positive out of it. He said he hoped the recovery from the dislocated shoulder had made him stronger.
Carragher admitted that while he loved to play football the injury had given him much needed rest. He said while speaking to reporters, "You have to look at the positives of an injury in that it gives you a rest and takes you out of the firing line. Maybe
you can look back and say 'It's done me good' - but I'd much rather be playing because I love being in the firing line.”
Carragher went on to speak about how his injury had come at a bad time, the Christmas period. The Reds faced some of their toughest fixtures during that time and that too without one of their most experienced players. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 centre back added, “Any
injury comes at a bad time but there were a lot of games when I was injured because it was over Christmas.”
Jamie Carragher started his career with Liverpool, making his debut for the Reds in 1996. He has been with the club for over 15 years now and in December of 2009 made his 600th appearance for the club. He has even scored 5 goals and has been very
important for the Reds throughout these years. However, he admitted he knew he was close to retirement but said he would like to play as long as possible.
