  1. Every kid is different so unfortunately they are totally unpredicatable!

I am a firm believer in the thought that babies have their own agenda!  Some things they are into, some things they're not too fussed about.

My nephew was the other way round, he wasn't fussed with walking.  He didn't walk until he was 14 months!  But boy does that kid love his food!

I think a lot of babies find themselves too busy to eat once they start moving as well.  It's like they know there is something else they'd rather be doing than sitting down and eating!

She will never starve herself, so leave her to it.  They all catch up in the end  :-)

  2. I'm a firm believer that when a kid is ready to eat, then they will eat.  Just be patient..she may yet not be ready to try.

  3. My little boy will NEVER be ready for this  because the plastics they use for these meals are BAD!!!  If you look on the bottom of most plastic containers you will see a triangle made of arrows with a number in the middle, this is the recycle code.  If the number is a 3, 6, or 7 it has cancer causing agents in it and should not be used for food!!!  If you do not believe me, look up 'recycle codes and cancer' on the 'net!!!  I stopped feeding my son anything Gerber because they are switching so many of their foods to plastic containers and they use the #7 plastic for most things (which is the worst of the three!!)
