  1. take him to the vet

  2. take him to the vet try some Vitamins!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Do you have them in a cage with wire bars?

If a gerbil chews his cage, it wears down the hair on his nose.

It's alright, but you eventually need to give him other things to chew and try to deter the behavior. It will never stop, but if he does it enough he can rub the nose to the point of bleeding.

A glass aquarium tank can stop it completely.

What type of bedding are you using?

If it is cedar or pine they are having a reaction to it, since they both contain "Phenols", which are very harmful to small animals. Switch to Aspen shavings or CareFresh.

Hope I helped with one of those two.

You can email me with other questions, if you'd like- I'm glad to help. :]

  4. O_O GO TO THE VET!!!!!!

  5. if you are using pine or cedar, stop using them now DON'T finish the bag just bin it. using Aspen or hay (i use hay it very good)

It can be cause by to much dig if he not digging then if happen on the bars, the best thing to do is to add lots of things to do for him, like things to chew. Keep him busy!
