Gerbil help please! please

Question

If I get a Igloo for my 2 Gerbils I already know that they can chew on it but what if I keep giving it Card Board so that they won't chew on it?

HI there... unfortunately, cardboard will not deter the gerbils from chewing the plastic igloo.  It's instinctual for them to chew on just about everything.  HOWEVER, it is best to offer them various items that is safe for them to chew to keep their teeth from growing too long.
