  1. blow the house up

  2. He should be fine. I've let my gerbil out many times, lost him many times, and found him eventually many times. Just keep food and water near the cage, look at all the crevice and holes at your place, and late at night, listen to its feet pitter patter. That's how I usually found him; hearing him be noisy late at night.

  3. did you get hit by a tornado or something?

just get on your hands and knees and search the room until you find the little critter. shouldn't take too long. if he is acting weird then you should find a way to take him to a vet, but he is probably fine.. just scared.

  4. It depends, what on earth were you keeping under your bed?? I don't think you have much to worry about to be honest. Just put him back in his cage and let him settle down.

  5. That depends if you had something under your bed.

  6. All I can think of is go out and buy one of those humane traps where you put the bait inside and once the gerbil steps on the trap the door will slide shut behind him, trapping him without causing harm. There are plenty of ways for him to get hurt if he's running around loose in the house, so it's best to try to catch him as quickly as possible.
