Gerbil safe material?

Is fleece safe for gerbils? I have lots of the stuff around and if its safe I would like to make some toys out of it.

No. Fleece is not safe for gerbils. They'll probably chew on it, and if the fleece is swallowed, it could cause a blockage. I guess some people may have given it safely to their gerbils, but, I, personally, wouldn't try it nor recommend it.

No, only cotton is the fabric material you can give them.

one of the best toys you can give your gerbils is unbleached toilet tubes or paper tower tubes.  After all the paper is gone.  Just the inside cardboard tube.

I used to save them up and put five or six in the gerbil cage at a time!  They absolutly love it.  They go crazy running through and devouring them.

i dont think it is. i had i gerbil and dont remember giving it anything like that. But, i do remember giving my gerbil lots of sun flower seeds and little blocks of wood u can buy at petsmart. I know that the sun flowers seeds and wooden blocks keeping mine ocupied! =) Also about the fleece..... ur gerbil may choke on it. Also they have little rope toys u may like to use for ur gerbil. i hope i helped!!!!! :)
