  1. Gerbils wee when frighten google taming "gerbil taming" and try not to picker her up for a day or two that start taming

  2. She's probably just scared of you....let her get use to her cage for a day or so then start interracting with her and holding her and such....this should help her get to know you better and not be as scared.

  3. she is just nervous of you, my gerbil is naturally nervous so she wee's on everyone all the time. a good thing to do is put your hand in the cage with some treats in the other hand. when she comes near your hand give her a small bit of a treat, then she will want more, when she puts one or two feet on your hand give her half a treat and when she is all on your hand give her a whole treat. then put your hand in the cage 6-10 times a day and only give her a treat when she goes on your hand totally. if she gets on your hand everytime you put it in the cage, slowly pull your hand up with her on it and if she gets scared she can jump off. if you hold her too hard and she can't get away that is when she will wee on your hand as she is so nervous, hope i helped :)

  4. I have 3 gerbils(males) and only one of them has every weed on me and it happened when i just grabbed him from behind with no warning. It's just nervousness. Next time, let her smell your hand first then gently try to cup her in your hand. Don't scare her.

    I hope I helped!

  5. This is usually just a sign of nervousness. It'll pass as she becomes more used to being handled by you. When I first got my gerbils, they peed on me every single time I took them out. Now, they only pee on me if they haven't peed after a nap before coming out of their tank to play. They still do pee if they're nervous, though.
