Cameroon international midfielder Geremi has joined Turkish side Ankaragucu from Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee.

This is the same team that Darius Vassell joined last year and notoriously had trouble settling into after being welcomed to the club like a pop star. Will Geremi go down the same route?
