Gergo Kis pockets Men’s 1500m freestyle gold – FINA/Arena Swimming World Cup
Gergo Kis pocketed gold medal of the Men’s 1500m freestyle on day two of the 2012 FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, October 3.
Kis demonstrated his astonishing efforts in the distant freestyle event and transpired on the finishing end for gold medal.

Similarly, Stjepanovic enjoyed an advantage of almost nine seconds over Sheng Jun Pang of Singapore, who stayed 9.08 seconds behind and surfaced on the wall with an effort of 15 minutes and 36.21 seconds for sixth place.
Pang was traced by Marco Koch of Germany, who stayed nearly 13 seconds away from his preceding swimmer and tapped the wall for seventh position by clocking a time of 15 minutes and 49.08 seconds.
Subsequently, Hussain Al Hammadi of UAE, who was the eighth participant of the event, did not swim in the race and failed to secure any position.
In addition, Kis expressed happiness over his victory in the sixty-lap freestyle event and articulated that he would train harder in future to defend his title at the subsequent stops of World Cup series.
