In case I get a 6-month internship (praktikum) in Germany, can I get a German Work Permit and Visa for this period? I am asking this because I am no longer a Student but a Fresh Graduate (Indian citizen), and I believe generally German Consulates give only a 90 days Visa. So how can I get a 6-month one?

  1. If you are able to get six months work permit you will be given six months visa. Work based visas depend upon the length of work permit.

90 days visa is usually a normal schegen visit visa. So if u secure a six months work permit I dont find it difficult to get six months work visa for you.
