I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "verb patterns" but maybe this is what you're looking for:

hope = hoffen, hoffte, habe gehofft

want = wollen, wollte, habe gewollt

will (for future) = werden

        or            = wollen (there are a lot of different ways to say will)

intend = beabsichtigen, beabsichtigte, habe beabsichtigt
