German cartoons like what's found on PBS ?

I was browsing tv stations today and I came upon a PBS broadcast. I thought, wow, this would be great for me if I could find something similar in German. Does anyone know any shows like the ones found on PBS in Germany? I know there's Sesame Street, but I'm searching for something even simpler. =)

something simpler than Sesame Street? that will be hard to find I think. That was one of the first shows I was even allowed to watch on TV when I was little ;-)

I could tell you a whole bunch of great shows, but they will involve harder vocabulary then Sesame Street. Good luck though! and you can email me anytime if you need a list of shows ;-)

I didn't watch much tele as a child, but I do remember watching Babar.... we actually preferred the American cartoons. Ninja Turtles..echt cool!
