German coach Joachim Loew hits at Bayern Munich director Uli Hoeness
Joachim Loew, manager of the German national football team, has strongly hit back at Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness after the latter commented that International friendlies are a waste of time.
Uli Hoeness recently said that having international friendlies is a total waste of time and they don’t give anything to the game. However, Loew disagreed with the statement and said that organizing friendlies at internationals is as important as the friendly
games Bayern Munich organize. While talking to the media, the German coach said, “The staff of the national side doesn’t share his (Hoeness) opinion. Friendlies are very useful for the Nationalelf.”
He also highlighted the fact that the German national team played friendly games with Bayern Munich as well and also reminded that a game between Munich and Germany was played which was a farewell game for former Munich and Germany captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oliver-c28477 Kahn.
An annoyed Loew also pointed out that Bayern Munich is also going to play a friendly game with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 and questioned the importance of that particular fixture.
