Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez has insisted that he can still improve despite a good start to the current campaign. The striker claimed that the manager Jupp Heynckes is working really hard with the players and wants the team
to achieve success at the end of the season in the form of the League and DFB-Pokal.
The Bavarian giants have had a good start to the season as they are currently on top of the Bundesliga standings table with nine points and three wins from four games. The team has also qualified for the group stages of the UEFA
Champions League after downing FC Zurich 3-0 on aggregate.
Gomez stated that the team still needs some improvement and the manager will make sure the team is on the right track before the Champions League starts next week. He added that the players and confident and determined to perform
at the highest stage and bring back the trophies at Allianz Arena at the end of the season.

Gomez admitted that he can still improve from his performances despite a good start to the season. He claimed that he wants to emulate last season’s performances and wants to score a lot of goals.
“I can still improve a lot - not only my weaker areas, but my strong points too. You should never be satisfied with yourself. Well, I'd have to play for another 45 years…” he concluded.
