German player Anna Kozuch transferred to Italian Yamamay Busto Arsizio – Volleyball news
German female volleyball player of Polish origin Margareta Anna Kozuch has signed a deal to join the Italian women’s club team of Yamamay Busto Arsizio.
The management of Yamamay Busto Arsizio is very much focused to prepare a strong team for the 2013 CEV Women’s Champions League. In this connection, a native Italian player Valentina Arrighetti was recently called up in the team.
Only a few days after the announcement, Kozuch also made its way to the roster of Yamamay Busto Arsizio.
German Kozuch has played for different clubs in Poland, Germany, Russia, and Italy. The 25-year old player started her career with German Tus Berne in 1999 and served in the team for four seasons. Later on, she moved to another German club by the name of
CVJM Hamburg. She spent hardly one year with CVJM and then shifted to TV Fischbek Hamburg in 2003. Kozuch contributed to the overall success of TV Fischbek from 2003 to 2006 and then joined NA Hamburg.
NA Hamburg was the last German team she represented. Afterwards, Kozuch got better offer from Unicom Starker Kerakoll Sassuolo and joined the Italian team. She led the team for one-year and then switched to Asystel Volley Novara in 2008.
She competed with her Italian team at the 2009 European Volleyball Champions and did amazingly well. Kozuch settled for the position of Best Scorer in the tournament.
In the same year, Italian Asystel Volley Novara competed at the CEV Women’s Volleyball Cup and got hold of the gold-ware, while Kozuch was part of that squad.
Zarechie Odintsovo of Russia hired German Kozuch in 2010. The Odintsovo team took part in the 2011 CEV European Championship, where Kozuch emerged as the top-spiker of the tournament.
Kozuch returned to Poland in 2011 and became a part of Atom Trefl Sopot, which claimed the PlusLiga Kobiet. Kozuch was part of the Polish team until now.
In the next run, the tall German player will help the Italian Yamamay Busto Arsizio. With her addition to the team’s roster, Yamamay BUSTO ARSIZIO has set higher goals for national league and CEV Champions League.
