German speaking countrys???

can anyone tell me what countrys other than germany speak german . . i think der is a few around europe but is der any in other parts of the world?

Switzerland, and Austria.   You could make an argument for Netherlands, but they really speak Dutch there.

I just met an Austrian, today...he told me you can tell the difference between the Austrian and German accent by the fact that an Austrian smiles while hes speaking!

I think most of the Alpine countries do.

Germany, Austria, Switzerland (they have three national languages, French, German and Italian) Argentina for obvious reasons. basically any country that used to be a colony of germany in Africa.
