German text?

Question

Where can i find a simple german text that does not include "big" words and phrases and can be understood by a student who goes to high school

my sister needs to present somehing like that for her german class

Go into "plug ins" on your IM screen,select "my plug ins", languages. Go for the translate English to German. Type in what you want and press the translate button, this will put your English writing into German.When your finished just delete what you wrote and type something else

I am German and speak and write it fluently , I have to say that most German words are big, there is no really good website  just try things like www. yahoo.de or www.Bild.de this is also good dictionary.reference.com/translate/text....

I use to Tutor German Literature at Baylor Univeristy in TX ... i could help you if you let me know what exactly you need ... being Nuernberg or anything in that matter i might be able to help

Yes.  I am a German student myself.

The Goethe Institut has various text on their page, that would fit the bill.

Deutsche Welle and Tagesschau also have news-oriented sites that are heavily used by German students.

If you really need very simple, the German Children's site die Maus is one that my teachers have used.
