German timer?

Question

While in Germany I bought a floating timer in a spindle case with a tube of water with green sand in it in bubbles. If ANYONE can tell me where I might be able to get these that would be great!!!!!!

I am not quite sure I understand what you mean. Do you have a picture of it somehow? I think it might be a timer used either in the kitchen, a sauna or in some kids' boyouardgames. If that's the kind of timer you think of you might want to try searching amazon.de for Sanduhr (they have several different ones there)
