German women duo has big plans for SWATCH FIVB Opener – Volleyball news
The 2011 SWATCH FIVB World Tour is scheduled to be kicked off with the first event of Brasilia Open in the coming week.
The Brazilian city Rio de Janeiro is set to host the double-gender event from April 17 to 22. The beach volleyball duos all over the world are getting ready to catch the limelight at the wonderful Brasilia Open. This is the high time that athletes are going
through the phase of formulizing strategies and plans for the upcoming tough encounters.
In this regard, the German pairing of Jana Kohler and Julia Sude is preparing hard for the 2011 SWATCH FIVB World Tour Opener. The German duo has spent enough time in practice and training over the past few months and they have great ambition to clear the
Main Draw stage. Furthermore, they want to become more of force on the SWATCH FIVB Tour.
The duo is enjoying a top form and has a lot of determination to do well at the Brasilia Open. The SWATCH FIVB has lined up a total of 15 women’s events on the calendar this year. The aspiring women beach volleyball stars will get a fair chance to represent
them and prove their endeavours in front of international audience. However, the heat will be on with the opening of Brasilia Open next week.
In a recent interview to the German Volleyball Federation website, Kohler shared her thoughts. He stated, “We want the good performances from the Country Quota last season to repeated this year and also to acquire skills and continue to play in the main
draw. We have shown that we arrived there, can win games and that is our goal!”
On the whole, Germany will be represented by more than one team at the Brasilia Open. The dynamic and internationally renowned pairing of Sara Goller and Ludwig will also be on board to showcase their extraordinary attack and defence capabilities.
Likewise, Katrin Holtwick and Ilka Semmler have also been registered for the competition. Hence, the duo of Jana Kohler and Julia Sude will have a double competition. They will be required to display an incredible show of beach volleyball in order to make
a difference and capture the spotlight.
