Germany's MOTOGP. What are your thoughts?

The 125's were a little weird I thought with Gabor running away at the front, but the 250's made up for that!

Hector #80 not having a clue how to use his brakes and with the 2 KTM's on the podium, it was great.

The Blue Ribbon class was a fair let down to myself, as I'm a Rossi fan. Crashing out early was not the best thing for the championship. The only "reward" I guess is that Casey did not do all that well either.

It was great to see Dani & Nicky back on the podium, and great to see the other Ducati of Caparossi back up there. He was the only Bridgestone runner with constant pace so he must have got the hardest lump of rubber out there!

This will give Nicky #1 a massive boost for next weekend at Laguna. 2 Hayden brothers both gunning for the win. Would Roger give it up for brother to make the hat trick??

What are your thoughts on the day?

[ I just know that "51" is going to rub my nose in it about Rossi !!! ]

  1. it wasn't as good as it has been but at least stoner extended his lead but hopkins was a bit dissapointing down in 7th but its good hes now in 4th overall

  2. For the first time ever I never saw the GP, my x bf texted me info as it happened, was gutted to get the one Rossi crashed out....... :o( very surprised.  Saw it when I got back and just thought it looked like a silly mistake ex bf said he thought he'd got wound up trying to overtake De Puniet.

Was surprised to hear the result, have to admit to being pleased for Haydon and I don't really like him that much.  As for Loris, shows the old man can still do it as well as the youngster :o).

  3. MOTO GP: Yea, it was a bit disapointing to see Rossi crash out, then slowly walk away from his bike knowing that he had made a big mistake in that corner.

250cc's: I think De Angelis should have won, he lead almost the whole way, but what made me mad was that he didn't loose 1st position on the last lap, he lost 2nd as well!!!

    Barbera was mad that race!

125cc's: I think Passini was a bit unhappy when ran off track on the first bend!. but he made the mistake.

Overall it was a pretty good race!

  4. Hey Wiggy,

Only saw it in dribs and drabs, but what I saw I enjoyed.

Like you I had to hope Stoner would drop a couple more points (nothing personal - just to keep the championship tight)

I thought the last few laps were exciting viewing - though being bundled by my mates kids to make me stop watching telly was beyond irritating! Luckily I'm bigger than them so managed to sit on a couple of the buggers !

I thought Pedrosa would have a good one, and am glad for Haydon too.

    Roll on Laguna seca!
