Germany Trip on Summer! What should I Prepare?

This summer im going to visit germany!! me alone

im 16 and an asian boy!!

Trying to find music universities..!

and do i have to know german?

Do all germans know english?

and is it kinda expensive? for me to stay whole a mounth in germany??!!

Cannot help you with music universities. Sorry!

But it's a good idea to learn some German. Not everybody here speaks english.

And, yes, compared with Asia you will need a lot of money.

In Berlin the cheapest rooms cost about 13 €.

Train and taxi is fu... expensive.

Calculate at least 700 - 800 € a month, depending on what you wanna do here.

Lots of great universities in Germany. I spent a semester in Berlin and had a great time. As for knowing German, it depends largely on where in Germany you will be. Knowing basic German is always a good idea, but most Germans know English, especially in the cities. Depending on which university you choose, classes will probably be taught in German, so keep that in mind.

Most of western Europe is pretty expensive, especially if you're visiting from a country with a weak exchange rate against the Euro. That's pretty much everywhere right now because the Euro is currently a very strong currency. Its been several years since I've been to Germany, but I remember things being pretty expensive back then. And the was before the US dollar crashed.
