  1. unfortunately there is no place you can see for Hitler because he is dead. well regarding the ww2 places it depends on what you want to see - since this war is over

  2. You should visit nuremberg and obtain information from the documentation center

    http://www.museen.nuernberg.de/english/e...

  3. You also should go to Austria where he was born and he lifed many years in Vienna!

  4. What part of Germany are you going to visit while traveling?

I'm an American living in Germany for the last 20 years.  I would suggest visiting Berlin because it is still full of history and rememberance.  It's too bad that you couldn't be in Germany today, In Erbenheim (Wiesbaden) they are celebrating the 60th anno of the Berlin Airlift.  A lot of the original soldiers and airman are there today to help with the celebrations.  If you need more information try this website www.warmuseums.nl it has a good bit of information that might help.  Let me know what area you are going to and I may be able to give some better pointer.  Good luck with your school project and enjoy your trip to Germany.

  5. Berlin and Nuerenberg.

But you are aware, that Adolf was an Austrian, not a German?

  6. Would this not get you better answers in History? This is a Travel section my friend.

  7. Visit the Dachau concentration camp just north of Munich. While in Munich you can visit the Hofbrau house, then If you have a chance you can visit Nurenberg and the Stadium there, where Hitler held his million man rally.

Fortunatley and yet unfortunately the Germans really have been trying to erase all traces of Hitler and his lot, so there is not much to see. If you have time then take a trip to the Normandy memorial and see the sacrifice that was made to end his madness.
