American politics and backwards engineers cannot compete with German engineering. The movie "Who Killed the Electric Car?" is totally out of date and GM is wrong again. Ford and GM or dumb and dumber? I am ready to buy a inexpensive, reliable electric just like back when I bought my first VW Beetle back in the Sixties. That is the way I will go. Have had Broncos and you name it. Now I want to go back to the future - Electrik Wheels!

  3. I can make you one out of beer cans and a vacuum cleaner motor for about $400.

Let me know what color you want it.

  4. Got to find a clean way to make the electricity first. Otherwise, you are harming the environment more and using more fossile fuels than just buying an efficient gasoline economy car.

  5. give it a rest, volume of these cars would fry the electric grid !
