Germany defeats Bulgaria 3-1 in a FIVB World League match – Volleyball news

A Pool D match of the FIVB Volleyball World League saw Germany and Bulgaria compete against each other on Sunday, June 24, 2012. The Portuguese city of Guimarães acted as the host to the competition that went on for four thrilling sets at the end of which

The coach of the winning side, Vital Heynen, shared his feelings at the press conference in the following words, “It was a very close match, it wasn’t easy but it was important since it was the first time that we won to Bulgaria. We gave one more step into
the path to the final phase of the World League.”
On the other hand, the coach of the Bulgarian squad, Nayden Naydenov, expressed himself in the following statements, “It was a good match, but unfortunately we lost. We are satisfied with what we have showed because our pool was very difficult. But it was
good because we wanted to grow up as a team and show that we are fighters.”

the end and then sped on to secure the opening set of the game at 25-20.
