The German national team manager reckons that France were outstanding on the night and deserved to beat Die Mannschaft.
Joachim Low admits that France were dominant in the game and were worthy winners when the two teams met in Bremen. The DFB-Eleven played hosts to Les Bleus on Wednesday, February 29, at the Weserstadion with Laurent Blanc’s men
winning by a 2-1 margin. Olivier Giroud and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838 scored goals for the visitors while Cacau bagged a consolation for the home side.
The manager expressed his disappointment at the loss, saying that his players were undisciplined and unimpressive. He mentioned that France took complete advantage of Germany’s poor display in the second-half which allowed Malouda
to thrash the ball into the roof of the net. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cacau-c8235, though, pulled one goal back in the dying moments but Low admitted the best team emerged as winners.
While talking to sports publication, Kicker, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 manager further added:
"When you lose a game, you are annoyed. However, I am more annoyed at how we lost it. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 played better in the second half, and we were no match to them. Therefore, it is right that France have won."
On the other hand, Thomas Muller also showered praise on his opponents. He opined that Les Bleus played terrific football away from home and Germany must accept this defeat rather than making excuses. He believes if his side would
have made use of their glorious opportunities in the first period than the outcome could have been different.
"Ahead of such a game you can do much talking, but we were a little undisciplined, as in second half our team looked disjointed. We have missed some chances and didn't defend well, but that is no excuse to throw away the game in
the manner we did," Muller concluded.
This defeat will certainly act as a wake-up call for the German side who stayed unbeaten throughout the last year. It was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904’s only scheduled International Friendly ahead of the European championship in June and Low must be
concerned at this result. The DFB-Eleven will open their Euro campaign with the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 on June 09.
