Germs.........please help!!?

There's a 4 year old girl I'm babysitting and she sick.

The thing is, She coughs a lot, and I told her to cover it with her hands, After she covers it, her hands goes on the couch.

She's lying on the couch, so If i tell her to cough and cover it with something else, its still on the couch.

Is there any way I can get rid of the germs on the couch?

Spray with Lysol disinfectant spray (or another brand) if there is any in the house.

Lysol is the best, I think it kills up to 96% of germs and then it kills like 100 types.  If she is coughing this much maybe you should talk to her parents, make sure she us up to date on all her shots.  It will soon be RSV, and flu season soon, make sure you and your kids are ready.

EDIT: Lysol is good on any surface, even fabrics, just don't soak it.  Every morning and every night spray a thin layer over the couch and any surface that might have any germs on it.

She's sick, there will be germs.  If you are worried about yourself, just take Vitamin C tablets and wash your hands frequently.

Remember she's four, she will not fully understand the full concept of spreading germs and bacteria.
