Liverpool skipper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196, thinks that any match between Liverpool and Manchester United is the biggest in football world, and called upon his team to kick start their campaign with a win against their rivals.

The Merseyside club will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s unit on Sunday, in what promises to be an enthralling fixture between the two giants of English football.
However, there is a sharp contrast in what is at stake for both the teams.
For Liverpool, they will go into the game with an aim to record their first win in the league this term, and get their season back on track.
United, on the other hand, will be looking to remain at touching distance with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 at the top of the table, and inflict further damage on the Reds by consigning them to another defeat.
Having represented Liverpool in 591 games in all competitions, Gerrard revealed that for him, the Liverpool-United match tops all other in enormity.
The English International cited the successful history of both the sides over the last couple of decades to press his point, and feels that only the Barcelona-Real Madrid rivalry was somewhere close to the one between the English giants.
“For me, it’s the biggest [game] because the Premier League is the biggest league in the world and these are the two most successful clubs,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“I’m not being biased when I say that – I think http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 versus Man Utd is the biggest game. May be Barca and Madrid is up there close to that.”
Liverpool have enjoyed good success against the Red Devils recently at Anfield, having won four of their last six meetings.
Desperate to record their first EPL win this term, the stage is set for Brendan Rodgers’ men to do it in style by getting the better of their bitter rivals.
The 32-year old couldn’t agree more, as he feels that recording their first win of the season against United could kick-start their campaign and will also do loads of good to the team’s confidence.
“It’s a massive game – we’re looking for our first [league] win of the season and there would be no-one better for us to start getting three points on the board [against],” he added.
Currently, the Reds have got 2 points out of their first 4 league games.
