All in all, he has represented the Merseyside outfit in a staggering 593 matches in all competitions and got 152 goals under his belt.
However, having entered the final year of his contract with the Reds, much has been said about the midfielder’s growing age and the number of years that he can still offer to Liverpool.

Anyhow, Gerrard was not too concerned about what he needs to do to guarantee his survival in the team.
He insisted that at the moment, he was not facing any fitness concerns whatsoever, and he was as athletic and agile as any other young player in the team.
“I am feeling good and fit and doing as much running as anyone else,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“I know I can play a lot deeper in Liverpool's team quite comfortably, but while I've still got the legs, energy and will to get forward I will continue to do that and try to get on the scoresheet and create goals.”
However, he confessed that he will need to make adjustments in his game over the coming years – something which, according to him, every player needs to do in the closing stages of their career.
“Every player on the planet, eventually when they get to a certain age, has to adjust certain things in their game and I am good enough to do that, it is not a worry for me,” he added.
Gerrard is one of the most decorated players in English football. He steered Liverpool to Champions League triumph in 2005.
