from his team and is hopeful that all three points will be achieved.
"We're obviously down. On the back of two defeats, it's a difficult moment but we need a reaction. We've got a big game in a couple of days against Swansea and we need to bounce back,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The skipper claimed that Reds had things in control for most of the match but then they conceded two poor goals which was disappointing.
“Up until the 70th minute against Zenit, the game was under control. We're disappointed with the two sloppy goals we conceded, but the tie is not over,” he continued.

and is confident of a win.
“It wasn't the result we wanted - we wanted an away goal and to try and sneak away with a clean sheet, but if you concede sloppy goal, you get punished and that's what happened,” he concluded.
Liverpool will take on Swansea City in their next league fixture on Sunday before they host Zenit for the return leg at Anfield. A win is crucial for the Merseyside giants as they look to finish in the top four.
