Cooney was made to order for Tyson, it wouldn't last a round.  Ken Norton had no business in the ring, an auto accident had caused significant injury to Ken, and Cooney fought the name, not the fighter we remember as Ken Norton.  Tyson takes this one I don't see Cooney getting out of the first round.  He would try to trade with Mike, and Mike would KO Gerry inside one round.

Gerry Cooney was in his prime when met another fighter in his prime and got destroyed (Larry Holmes) Mike Tyson would love this fight. Cooney is taylor made for Tyson. Cooney had a nice jab and good left hook, but Tyson in his prime had everything but the kitchen sink.

Tyson by KO in 5. Much more brutal then when Spinks KO'd him.

Are you serious?   Cooney got KO'd by Michael Spinks.   What happend when Michael Spinks fought Tyson it lasted 91 seconds.   Cooney had a heck of a punch but he couldn't take a punch.   Holmes, Spinks & Foreman all KO'd him.   Tyson takes a much better punch than Cooney so I would say Tyson in 3 rounds.

I doubt this fight will last more than 60 seconds, Cooney will try to close in on Tyson early on with his left jab and leave his chin exposed (as he usually does) and will end up tasting Tyson's uppercut, at that point his mind will shut down and Tyson will brutally punch his uncoscious body to the ground it would go down as one of the most brutal knock outs ever.
