Vileneuve Soissons – Aisne team’s Gert Joeaar won the fourth and final stage of 2011 Ronde de l’Oise on Sunday, June 12. Gediminas Bagdonnas retained his overall leader’s yellow jersey.
The race started in Bailleul SC and ended in Liancourt. Joeaar, took a total of 4 hours, 4 minute and 33 seconds to cover the distance of 172.2 kilometres.
Arnaud Demare of C.C Nogent Sur Oise was the runner-up. Morgan Kneisky of Roubaix Lille Metropole finished third, while Kevin Denis was in the fourth spot.
The French cyclists Romain Bardet was in good form, but he failed to get ahead of 45 cyclists and grabbed the 46th spot with a difference of 10 seconds.
The three Roubaix Lille Metropole team-mates, Denis Flahaut, Anthony Colin and Loic Desriac, were disqualified from the stage.
This stage was difficult for the riders because it contained eight mountains and two sprints. A group of three cyclists, including, Sebastien Duret, Romain Bacon and Clement Chevrier made their first breakaway.
Three cyclists gained a lead of few seconds over the peloton, but the last two riders were unable to maintain pace. So Sebastien won the first sprint of the stage.
When the race entered Liancourt, the two riders, Harbonnier and Romain Bacon tried their best to gain a lead, but failed and Duret again won the last sprint.
Clement Chevrier won the seventh mountain, but failed to maintain his pace and Oleksandr Sheydyk won the last mountain of the stage.
However, Clement Chevrier overshadowed Amaud's impressive performance and went to become the King of Mountain (KOM) with 55 points ahead of other cyclists.

Kevin Lalouette told the media, "It was a bluff because I did not really have good legs today, showed the Picard-Roubaix Lille Metropole. But I'm still happy with my second place makes me much good, behind a very good rider who has a very good team."
Florian Vachon of Bretagne – Schuller finished third, while Ronan Racault was in the fourth spot.
