Get It Stopped to thrive at Henlow – A4 Race Preview
Get It Stopped, the J Ray-trained black dog, stands at the hot favourite for tonight’s Grade A4 contest of 460m Flat distance. The novice runner is expected to perform well at Henlow racecourse and register second victory of his career.
The dashing dog is lined-up to fight against Flying Freddie, Maldini Hare, Cals Spy and Loyalty Card for the prize money of £60.
Get It Stopped started his career on December 9, 2011 and finished 6th in his maiden race. The two-year-old runner bagged the first and last victory of his career on January 21, 2012.
The son of Barefoot Bolt out of Varjak Paw finished third in a race on February 3 and went on to get fifth spot on February 9.
In his last outing on February 23, the young dog collapsed and became the tail ender.
Though he has accomplished just one victory to date but his decent performances have established himself as a favourite in the eyes of the bookies.
It is for the first time that Get It Stopped is going to get a favourite tag tonight. He is supposed to show impressive run and come up to the expectations of his trainer and the punters who have staked their money for him.
But there are two hounds named as Flying Freddie and Cals Spy who may give tough time to Get It Stopped and even deny him victory.
Flying Freddie registered a big success on January 3, 2012. In his last two starts during the last month, P Simmonds’ black dog finished third and second.
As a whole, the son of Droopys Maldini out of Offshore Sox has not been a consistent performer. However, his fresh form suggests that he will run well tonight.
Cals Spy has also been delivering some good performances since the dawn of 2012. The K Taylor-trained brindle b***h finished second in her last outing on February 24.
The daughter of Killahan Phanter out of Cals Tonic will also unleash strong fight tonight.
Let us see how Get It Stopped manages to wrest success from the jaws of his potential opponents. Good luck to all the hounds.
